I arrived on this planet as Sharett 41 years ago on this day and it was an event! Though my entrance here was tumultuous and almost more of a crash landing that almost took me and my mom out, I've proven to be the blessing that I chose to come here to be! Welcome to The Sharett Experience!
This life and the ups and downs of it have taught me a lot! I have built, over lifetimes, amazing good fortune for myself and I fully accept that without comparison to those whose lives are WAY better than mine, nor those who are less fortunate than me. That is all perspective and no one person will see that the same as any other person. But what I do know is that as much as I might see things in a skewed manner from time to time, I am deserving and filled with gratitude for my good fortune! It's never failed me!
Recently I learned that the joke of this life is that there will ALWAYS be resistance. When you learn that all discomfort and low vibrational frequency emotions you feel are simply your resistance to aligning with what's best for you and your true highest desires, you start to ask, what can I do to not be in resistance? You might even grow to resent your resistance and view it as some perceived wrongness! You listen to gurus that talk to dead people that say, stop resisting what you actually want!!! And you REALLY want to stop resisting. But it's not until you realize that resistance is part of the fucking game of life, that the damn lightbulb comes on and you realize that eliminating resistance is NOT the key to happiness. Coping with and utilizing resistance strategically to begin to move towards what you desire is the key to a life of whatever type of abundance you choose!
Without knowing what you don't want, you can't know what you DO want. Duality is necessary or else we'd all die of boredom! You can't truly know happiness without having known the opposite!
So on this great day that is the anniversary of my first breath in this vessel known as Sharett, on this planet known as Earth, I reflect on all I've learned in these 41 years of life and I revel in accepting that all things I have the privilege to experience in this human journey, both good and bad, have shaped me in unfathomable and unexplainable ways!! And the gratitude I live with for that, day in and day out, is as infinitely expanding as my non-physical and existential being in this great Universe!
