I typically do not post my poetry here in this blog. I usually post it to a poetry website, but this could warrant starting a poetry blog potentially because it feels very light and fun! This particular poem is close to my heart and truly describes where I am on my journey of this human experience currently. I am typically a very dark writer (my creative side is the dark of my duality) but this one isn't! It's rather pleasant, by my standards! Ha ha! Enjoy!

Sometimes you dig deep and remember who the fuck you are
Sometimes you look back just to see the ground you've covered so far
And sometimes it hurts allowing who you were to just die
But ultimately resilience prevails uncovering and transmuting every lie
False truth might have litered your mind till you decided to let them go
Blind faith in trust falling, free in ways some will never know
You asked to be free and dreamt about the day it would come to fruition
Again blind faith but fueled this time by intuition
You knew but you didn't and you let go knowing you'd win it
Fought demons you created and conquered the ones that translated
From thoughts to words and words to action
Setting you up as your own main attraction
In love with yourself in a place to live in alchemy
With light and with love sans the existence of the enemy
All falls in to place within the trusting of the self
It happens with ease when you surrender to your higher self
The signs ahead all say unknown
And your heart soars in faith and trust as the road continues to unfold
