I have a question (or 20), but do you have an answer?

What if "being the change you want to see" means changing inwardly to exude that energy and shine it outwardly? Sure, no one knows the mean shit you might say to yourself in your head when things aren't going well. They can't hear those things. But ask yourself this question. What would you tell someone you love, if you could hear the mean things they say to themselves in their head? Would you egg them on and tell them they are right? No way in hell, right? You'd tell them they are loved and how amazing they are. But how much more impactful would your energy be if you constantly told yourself how loved and amazing you are in your head? That is how I am coming to see the idea of "being the change you want to see." Again, your inner world creates your outer world! I've got broken record syndrome with that statement.

I feel like this post might be more impactful if I use a series of rhetorical questions to make my point. Mainly because we're all grownups and no one should be telling any of us what to do! Just saying! But more so, because we live in a free will of choice universe and you need to make your own choices. I'll add my 2 cents, as always, and you can take it with you or leave it here. That part makes no difference to me. All of that being said, here we go!

What if everyone you encounter at any point in your life can subtly (and sometimes not so subtly) feel your inner energy and pick of the vibe of how you treat yourself? Let's say from a spiritual, mind and body standpoint. What do you believe in beyond yourself? Is it God, something else, or nothing? What's your take on what others believe in, spiritually speaking? Are you accepting or judging quietly to yourself?

Others can also subtly or overtly sense the vibe of what you think about yourself in all aspects of your life and your current mental state. How do you feel about yourself? Do you let others in? Do you open yourself up to community in any way? Are you mentally sound of mind? And lastly, how do you treat your body in general? As far as how you treat your body, what I mean is, what types of things do you say to yourself about your body? What types of foods do you feed your body? How do you condition (or uncondition) your body as far as physical fitness goes?

These questions are not to elicit self-judgement, though I am sure many of us went there. Hell, I went there while writing it. That shit is not easy. So much of it is simply the current conditioning of human nature. But what if I told you that nurture can most certainly out-command nature? The purpose of these questions is to open your eyes to how you see yourself and in turn hopefully help you to realize that if you want to do good in this world, you have to be good in this world. You deserve to be in that space feeling sound of spirit, mind and body as much as anyone else does. And by simply choosing to put your own wellness first, you become the ripple in the ocean of oneness affecting every drop there in a positive way!
